Am I the only person who mourns the passing of proper parcels? You know: the ones where you just undid, or cut, the knot and unwrapped it? Took moments! And recyclable.
Instead we have plastic bags, horrible thick black tape - often wound round and round and round - and that awful black sticky pliable wrap stuff that takes me ages to break into, cardboard self sealing boxes, jiffy bags with recycled dust that bursts all over the room...
