My dd will be christened shortly and I have invited my dbro his partner and their child. I posted the invite and followed it up with 2 text messages, 2 fbook messages and have also left messages on phone. They have not got back to me. What more can I do?

v rude not to RSVP. Are they always like this or just really busy with a crisis/ life in general & have not got round to it. Call him & find out. My bil only replies to say that he is coming so wont bother if he is not planning to attend.

You need to kbow how many to cater for, I always do extras anyway. I take the view if they come great, if not the party is going ahead & it's no skin off my nose.

I would send them another text and facebook message saying that you are assuming they are not coming as they haven't responded at all so far.

So no food will be catered for you!
If you are coming then let me know today please!
Done!
Some people are rude though. It is very annoying when people don't respond.
Have a lovely day!

I think it's just how they are. At Christmas and birthdays I send my nephew presents and have to chase them to see if they got it ok.

Do you have another relative you can get to nudge them eg DM or DF, it is rude a bit lazy of them not to respond.
