Aibu to be incandescent with rage? estranged H txt me to ask if I wld go halves on a divorce. Been sep for8 mnths.he left me with debts I'm paying off 11k. When I said no he told DD "your mother seems to have lost her sense of humour" he lives in mummy's spare room and pays no rent while he gets back on his feet!

YANBU!! My ex left me for another woman. I did not want to pay for divorce so left it. Every time I bumped in to OW, I would aske her to 'Please tell my husband......' any little thing I could think of.

He divorced me in the end. Cost him around £800, I believe.

Why have you been left with the debt? If you aren't yet legally separated, then any debts acquired during the marriage are still both of your debts, and so he should be contributing towards them too.

He pays 50 per wk towards debt but I still have to claim ct and hb. I'm self emp so can,t fight for more

ExH was supposed to pay for our divorce he never sent off the signed papers. I came to the conclusion that the only way to close that chapter of my life was to organise and pay for it myself. It really depends how quickly you want this ended.

I'm in no rush guess if I sit it out I
I can always point creditors in his

Mine cost me $7000 but cost him $17000 cos hes a fckwit that thought his lawyer actually gave a shit :o
