... tell them that I have eaten all the red ones from dd's bag of Starburst and all the nutty ones from the top layer of ds's box of Milk Tray?

Or shall I just wait and see if they notice?

I'd replace them with the soft fried egg penny sweets

happystory · 01/03/2013 13:30

They will notice!

They will notice.

I am a terror for doing this. I do replace her sweets though. Usually before she gets home but sometimes forget.

DD still reminds me every easter that one year, when she was out, I hungover was in need of some sugary nonsense and snapped the head off her chocolate easter bunny. I meant to replace it but couldn't find another one so had to explain the decapitated bunny when she got home. I should have just ate the lot and denied all knowledge (but she would have known it was me).

That's hilarious GetOrf!

My dh frequently 'checks for poison' in the dc sweets/choc/ etc

LadyPessaryPam · 01/03/2013 13:35

Grin I would let it be a surprise, and then when the wailing starts magically produce some other sweets they like to pacify them.
