to think disabled threads are started for the argument?

I tried to seek help yesterday for my own situation regards disability with one reply, yet if it had of been the other way round and I was complaining in some way about disability it would of had tons of pages ending in a fight.

What has always come through on threads like this is that we all need to work together, however only one chose to work with the disabled.

And now I will walk away from this as you will all do the 'right thing' and say YABU, otherwise agreeing with me would just name and shame.

However if you genuinely want to help and support special needs/disabled would you do me a favour and try to comment on my next thread www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/1695656-Autism-Tshirts-badges

TIA Smile

As this was posted this morning, do you not think that some of those 45 posts might be as a result of seeing this?

The reality is that people like a fight and a bit of knicker hoiking. When you ask general questions you're more likely to get fewer, but more useful answers.

I dont understand?

What would I think if they had a T shirt saying I am downs/autistic?

I dont know is the answer. Down people I dont need they need a T shirt, as there are distinct characteristics

autistic. I think its risky as this assumed response is helpful (as opposed to open them up to anything negative)

why are you asking anyway???
