To be thoroughly marked that DH does not care about himself or ultimately us?

DH has high blood pressure, he has had approx 8 or 9 BP readings over the past month and each has been approx 151/85 and many higher. On one occasion he saw a doctor who took a reading of 135/92. He said doc didn't seem too concerned and for him to loose weight and do more active excercise ( he is about 15stone and does walk the dog about 3 miles a day).

The BP investigations came about as he woke one night with severe chest pains. Turned out not to be a heart attack. This was a month ago and at the time he said that it was a shock and he would change. But no! He has done fuck all! He still adds salt to his food, eats crap, whines at the thought of any kind of diet food that I try to give him.

I bake him bread that's low salt so that he can still have good food, but he goes to the shop and buys junk instead!

We have a dd who is nearly 2 and I honestly feared for his life last month! I am seriously offended that he doesn't want to change for him let alone us.

He probably had indigestion.

As for 15 stone, how tall is he?

I'd also hate to be nagged about what I ate.

Walking 3 miles a day sounds fine to me.

Why not get the "low salt" if that's a huge problem to you.

You cannot make anyone do anything, instead all it does it makes them do the opposite.
