Dh contract was 43 hours. There was too much work to be able to complete in this time. Unpaid overtime was require - up to 22 hours a week. Dh was not prepared to do this so was demoted. We have just had another baby and moved house. It's fucking shit. I'm a worrier and this is constantly on my mind. Thanks for letting me offload.

Yes it is shit, i'm a worrier too. Managers expect you to work harder for less and less because of todays climate.

Its the same at my work, we are being asked to join the 'new culture' and aim for first class, yet I'm contracted and when i got my new timetable had nearly £200 a month decrease, £2400 a year. No one even bothered to tell me, just said have a look over your new timetable and get back to me!

Some managers are great...some are pricks!

I'm not kidding. The day he returned to work after parental leave he was put on review. Strange straight after being off for four weeks.
