Hey - when you're fat, it helps to talk about it.

You don't have to read the posts!

BettySwollocksandaCrustyRack · 28/02/2013 13:05

Hully, how many calories have you had today? :)

SayCoolNowSayWhip · 28/02/2013 13:06

Shall we start talking about babies instead? Grin

Hullygully · 28/02/2013 13:07

8 million

HOW?

How does it help to talk about it?

I'm fat. Oh, I'm still fat.

I'd say eating less probs helps more and perhaps walking.

Thumbwitch · 28/02/2013 13:10

I dunno if it helps to talk about it, probably not because I have as much willpower as a dead ant and talking about it won't help me, it won't stop me reaching for the chocolate as usual Grin

PhyllisDoris · 28/02/2013 13:11

Because dieting is difficult, and it's good to know you're not the only one - that everyone else finds it difficult too, and everyone has they're bad days.

If it doesn't help you (or if you have no need for help), then don't read the posts!

Hullygully · 28/02/2013 13:15

the point

dear phyllis

is that it's diets or bloody babies these days

where is anything intertesting?

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 28/02/2013 13:20

Hully, what would you like to talk about?

I suggest (in order of interestingness)

The Mortal Engines quartet by Phillip Reeve?
Is George Clooney gay or not?
What made Queen Victoria so repressed is she was apparently so mad about sex?
How did regional accents in all their glorious complexity develop in the British Isles?

All the above I find Very Interesting.

Spamspamspam · 28/02/2013 13:22

sneaks in and raises hand

errm Miss are we allowed to talk about weight and diets in the weightloss section? Grin

EarlyInTheMorning · 28/02/2013 13:56

Were the bathroom scales mean to your this morning hully?
Grin

TiddlyOmPomPom · 28/02/2013 14:52

Did you really want your thread title to say "STOP TALKING ABOUT DIETS AND BABIES!" and then you remembered which website you were on? Grin

Have a Brew and a Biscuit, I'm going to.

PhyllisDoris · 28/02/2013 15:14

Each to his/her own - there is a thread about everything on MN. I don't join the weightloss threads (I have MFP for that), but can see how people can find them helpful.

NinaHeart · 28/02/2013 15:35

I don't like diets and I don't like babies either.

Startail · 28/02/2013 15:42

I should eat less and exercise more, I know this.

So Shut Up nagging, because I'm not going to!

ChairmanWow · 28/02/2013 15:52

But I'm 5'1" and a size 8 and I eat 1400 calories a day. I need you to know that. Are you judging me?.

*Size 14.
*No bloody how many actually. Life's too short.

ChairmanWow · 28/02/2013 15:54

No bloody idea. Eejit. It must be all those fat deposits on my brain.

TheVermiciousKnid · 28/02/2013 16:06

YANBU.

TomDudgeon · 28/02/2013 16:19

I know if I were trying to diet if I were to mention it to someone else it would help me to stick to it by pure guilt
But I don't
