AIBU to think, if I were a man?

Have name changed for this for obvious reasons.

Aibu to sometimes look at another female and think, if I were a man...

I'm a heterosexual female, I love men, but sometimes I see a woman who I find so beautiful I can get a little crush, or imagine how a man must feel. I love looking at pictures of beautiful women.

[http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2285781/Murad-Osmann-Photographers-amazing-pictures-girlfriend-leading-hand-globe.html#comments these] are the pictures that have instigated the question. My dp is currently working away so I might just be a bit lacking.

I really don't think that I'm bisexual please tell me somebody else feels like this?

She has a beautiful body. But I don't fancy her. Clever pics though.

Cherriesarelovely · 28/02/2013 11:15

Well, I am a lesbian but I also have a few friends who have little crushes like you describe. I don't think it is that unusual. If it helps my DP who has never been with a man has a bit of a crush on Daniel Craig!

countrykitten · 28/02/2013 11:17

Daniel Craig...now you're talking!

Pussinboots84 · 28/02/2013 11:18

Yep another Daniel Craig fan here too.

I am can appreciate a lovely looking woman but i dont look at them in a sexual way.
I think Rhiana when she had the short pixie haircut was stunning but she didn't still any sexual feeling but Daniel Craig with any hair cut gets all mu juices flowing.

Wewereherefirst · 28/02/2013 11:24

I get girl crushes all the time, the female body is both amazing and beautiful and when it's with a great personality I can't help it.

My husband and I have a similar taste in women we find attractive (who are nothing like me), I don't think anything of it really...

Fakebook · 28/02/2013 11:26

Your crush on a woman was instigated by 5 pics of a woman facing away from the camera? Confused

digerd · 28/02/2013 11:29

Puss
The man had hairy forearms I noticed. Her thighs are too skinny and shapeless. Her bum looked cheeky in the red tight dress in Venice.
Loved the palm trees photo.

Pussinboots84 · 28/02/2013 11:31

Her face is in the picture at the end. And it's as lovely as the back of her.

I didn't say I had a crush on the woman in the photos, I said I've developed crushes on women I've known.

The woman in the photos is beautiful, imo, beautiful hair, body, skin, clothes, I even love her nail polish and jewellery.

And there are 19 pictures. Smile

She is gorgeous I agree OP. I have 2 types of crushes on women as it happens! On the woman in the photo I have a sort of "Wow, she is gorgeous, I would like to look like her" and with other women it's more "Wow, she is gorgeous, I really fancy her"!

SoleSource · 28/02/2013 11:35

Too thon for my tadtes but beautiful. I fancy big boobs, curves. I like big women.

LadyBeagleEyes · 28/02/2013 11:35

I think most women can look at another and just think, wow she's beautiful.
I do, but not in a sexual way.

Cherriesarelovely · 28/02/2013 11:37

I agree Lady.

mrsjay · 28/02/2013 11:38

I think you can think women are beautiful and not have crushes though or do you mean an actual crush Im a bit confused, I think anne hathaway is looking amazing at the moment her short hair suits her doesnt mean I have a crush does any of that make sense Hmm

My gay friend (man) thinks beyonce is beautiful

mrsjay · 28/02/2013 11:38

think most women can look at another and just think, wow she's beautiful.
I do, but not in a sexual way.

this is what I meant

Pussinboots84 · 28/02/2013 11:41

See I think I do, very slightly, at times have sexual feelings towards women, it's not often and the woman has to be either very, very beautiful, imo of course. Or it's someone I know and there's just something about her.

But I'd never want to have a relationship with a woman, or even in reality be at all sexual. I guess perhaps it's a bit of a safe fantasy.

I just love the photos though, they are a really attractive couple and she is lovely in every way, and the scenery is great too, I wish I was there travelling the world.

Clever pics and she is lovely.

I certainly look at women and think them attractive.

The girl in the pics is too thin for my 'tastes' also.

So yes, I do like to look at nice bodies, male or female and in fact I think I probably enjoy looking at the female from over the male one.

Pussinboots84 · 28/02/2013 11:43

No I mean more than just think she's attractive. But it's ever so slight, and only sometimes.

OP posts:
Cherriesarelovely · 28/02/2013 11:47

I really wouldn't worry about it Puss, I bet there are loads of women who feel the same as you do. I find men ever so slightly attractive sometimes but wouldn't want a relationship with one! Being gay isn't just about the sexual side for me, it is about my identity. I just feel more "me", in every way when I am in a relationship with a woman. It's hard to explain!

Pussinboots84 · 28/02/2013 11:55

I know what you mean cherries. I think society likes to put things into catagories, but people are a bit more complex.

It's strange because, I can look at men or women, and find them attractive, but not fancy them.

I'm watching this morning and Kelly Brook and Holly are on, I think they're both attractive but I certainly don't fancy either of them. I find, say David Beckham attractive, but he doesn't do anything for me. But Chris Martin, I've got a bit of a crush on, think he's gorgeous.

OP posts:
AmberLeaf · 28/02/2013 11:59

Yeah I think I am also sexually attracted to some women and certainly have sexual thoughts about them, but wouldn't want a relationship with one IYSWIM?

I think this is fairly common TBH but lots of women maybe feel they can't be open about it.

Pussinboots84 · 28/02/2013 12:04

I wonder also, if you hypothetically, were going to, have sex or get close to either a really attractive female or a very unattractive male, what would most people prefer?

Think you're right Amber, although I don't have these feelings all the time, strange.

I wonder if men look at other blokes and think he's a good looking bloke. They rarely let on do they?

OP posts:
LadyBeagleEyes · 28/02/2013 12:05

Everybody's different though, aren't they.
To me a sexual relationship with a woman would be weird, they're too soft and female if you see what I mean?
To me it's a turn off, though I can admire female beauty.
