Arrrrrrrggghhh looking for childcare as applying for jobs - it's a nightmare - trying to find preschools but so little info available - trying to find ones with the right hours, cost etc not to mention do I want to leave my child there. You would think in this day and age this information would be readily available - even trying to find out where they are is hard enough.

And how on earth do you find child minders - I am going slowly mad searching and then when you find one they haven't got places.

Meh I wish I drank!

I need a childcare comparison website!

Don't know where you are but our Council Website has a link to a childcare directory that lists many childcare providers in the area.

It is a nightmare though.

Every council has one - I think it's called the Family Information Service
or Hub. Should be a link to it from your councils website. It will have all the registered settings but if ours is anything to go by search facility is a bit clunky and difficult to navigate. It's all there tho and links are provided to latest Ofsted reports.
