3hings have been very tricky for a while...so today i picked up my niece and nephew from playgroup...and we encounter a delightful little cat...think no more of it. later have to get ds from school ...on way back see a poster for a missing cat that looks like the one we saw this morning. so ds and i take down the number go home and call it. leave message. ownercalls back. i say where we saw it etc. get a text tonight that they found her exactly where i saw her...thrilled of course. but even more pleased i found the energy to engage! sorry for being self indulgent.

That's great news! Well done! You should be very chuffed with yourself. I would be!

PomBearWithAnOFRS · 26/02/2013 22:54
Grin It's not self indulgent to be concerned about a little lost cat! Just think how happy that family will be now they have their pet home safe - it's lovely.

it really brings it home that sometimes you get so much more back by doing something kind that costs you a bit of effort than just thanks...

sounds like a win, win, win all round. Chuffed - quite rightly

INeverSaidThat · 27/02/2013 00:58

That's a sweet story. I am glad it cheered you up. Smile

HazeltheMcWitch · 27/02/2013 01:05

That is really good of you. I imagine that many people would not have made that call.
I have cats, and am heartened to read that you did this! So thank you.
