Have horrible shakey nauseous wobbly achey manflu, can barely stay upright, but on my own with DCs (3 and 1) Have only 2 flu tablets left that I will probably need in the morning when I will feel rubbish and will need to sort the kids out, so want to save those, but have nothing else to take if I feel awful in the night.

So, as an adult (but a weeny one, about size 6/8 and short! Smile ) can I pass as a 12 yr old and nick some of the kids calpol later on? Please??

I am not sure it will do much for you (except taste nice!)

Yes but you need to nick the correct amount to have a proper dose or there is not much point.

How much calpol do you need to get 1000mg of paracetamol? I expect the answer may put you off.

Joy!! Have found regular grown up nurofen in the medicine cupboard, does that work on flu?? (I mean, i know it says it does on the box, but does it really in real life? Sorry, slightly flu addled..)

I do hun and it works fine ! I take the 12 years dose! Obvs wont be as strong as a 500 parecetmol but takes the edge off at least!!! Like taking one tablet instead of two! Wish u a fast recovery
