To be annoyed at this??

Two friends from abroad were visiting London for the weekend, and they asked me to join them for the weekend.

We stayed in the same hotel, they told me to come to their room at 7:20 and we would meet up with a couple of other people and go for dinner. We all agreed to wear dresses and I wore some heels too. Get to their room and they tell me that we are late and will have to run to the Underground.

Not fun in heels.

Meeting everyone else at the next station. One-one else was there yet. We decided to wait in a nearby shop (literally 30 seconds away from Underground entrance). When her male friend rang to say he was there, she then starts shoving me in the back to get out the store - exclaiming oooh we'll be there in 10 seconds.

We go to the restaurant, it was quite small and very busy. So we waited for half an hour, other people still hasn't arrived. We finally get a table and as soon as we sit down her friend says "my friend is running late still so we'll have to give up this table and come back"

Walked by to the underground to meet the other three people.

Then when we got back had to wait again for table - but this time outside!

Am I being reasonable to have found this so bloody annoying??

Sounds like a horrible evening. Don't arrange anything with them again.

As I've got older I've found any nights out where I have to agree what I'm wearing with friends is unlikely to turn out that well.

YANBU.
