for staring at me? My dogs won't go away. They have been walked (on the beach), fed, watered and let out for a wee. What the hell you they want? They don't do it to anyone else.

Why me?

What do they want?

They are driving me mad!!!

for yopu to get off their sofa, obviously Wink

WifeofPie · 21/02/2013 22:27

Mine do this too...They won't tell me what they want but I suspect it has something to do with monitoring me for any signs of an impending exit from the house. They also do it to each other...like if I'm cooking a chicken or something else that smells delicious, they will lie at opposite ends of the kitchen staring at each other. They are weirdos.

One is sat next to me on the sofa. Staring and grunting. The little doesn't ask for cuddles, he just takes them. The big has gone now. Sulking because I am failing to understand what he wants. It makes me think of cats with thumbs.

You're not pregnant, are you? Grin One of my cats STARES at pregnant women ... it's quite freaky!

MissBrown · 21/02/2013 22:31

If I am cooking something delicious (doesn't happen a lot!) they will both try to guard it and growl at each other.

Definitely not pregnant. That usually requires sex. But that is a whole other thread!! Probably staring to detect frustration from said lack of sex.

When mine sits and states at me he either wants to go out (despite having just come in) OR he wants me off the couch so he can lie next to DH (and I actually do get off cause then I get comfy reclining armchair all to myself)

It's when they look over your shoulder at something or someone that you can't see. And do that pursed lip going-to-bark thing.

And you daren't turn round to look just in case there's something there.......mwah ha ha

Dogs are just the best aren't they? If a human did this I would hate it but I love it when I look up and one of the dogs is all soppy eyed in my direction. Give them a cuddle!
