One scene with Steve and Karen babysitting Amy (Steve's dd), and the nappy changing scene,when Karen shoved the dirty nappy in his face. The whole scene was

Oh God, he reminds me of my brother and my 3 cousins (yes all of them) so YABU. They are not funny or attractive IMHO.
But in typical northern male fashion they think they are all that.
He comes from the same place as me (and I have probably outed myself to anyone who cares enough to think they know me) so even the accent is the same.....

Nothing divides opinion like Steve McDonald in our flat. I think he's great, I love his hangdog expression and generally put upon demeanour.
