Have just switched DD over to FF after express BF (this isn't a breastfeeding thread don't worry!)

Was in a cafe giving DD a bottle earlier and thought, I wonder if anyone is looking at me and judging me?

And the other day, me and my brother and sister in laws were chatting about what we were like when we were younger and I mentioned taking drugs etc (not proud) in relation to worrying if DD would rebel like I did.

Normally these things would trouble me for days and I would think people were making judgements on me/assumptions about me.

But I suddenly realised today, I REALLY don't care anymore. People say this when they still do but I genuinely don't, AIBU to think this is something that comes with being a parent? or just getting older!

I do think that becoming parent gives you a sense of perspective on stuff like that. You realise what's real in the world and what's bullshit, and that nothing else really matters besides your DC's health and wellbeing.
