I spent 1 hour stood in a muddy field yesterday morning watching DSs play football and 2 hours stood in a muddy field this morning watching DSs play rugby. I love watching them, it isn't a chore, it is a pleasure - all be it a wet and cold pleasure!

But when they get back home, within half an hour they are going stir crazy and want to go back outside to the park.

I don't want to. I could go back out. I don't want to though.

I said No but think I may be being unreasonable. It isnt' as though they have done nothing all day.

Am I being Unreasonable?

Do you have a garden they can play in?

What can they do at home in terms of (physical) play?

It's a lovely day here! If you have nothing else to do- yabu! Do you have a garden they can play in?

snice · 17/02/2013 15:21

take book- sit on bench-not that bad! I have been known to take a blanket too

How old are they? If you don't have a garden, can they play out the front or let them go to the park on their own.

YANBU, can't they play out on their own? How old?

Its my 7 year old who wants to go to the park. He could go on his own, but he does't want to. He also wants to go to the park on his bike, but his bike is on a ban at the moment because he cycled across the road when a car was coming.

I do have a garden, but he wants to go to the park specifically.

It is a lovely day. He could do lots of things at home, he has loads of books and games etc.
