ds 1 has short hair. all ways has done. ds2 who is four has all ways had long blond poker straight hair. about chin length.

I love his hair. I really do. it sbits him imo of course and his personailty. but people. mainly older people always confuse him for a girl. my friends are mentioning when I'm going to get his hair cut and make jokes of. lets go cut your hair littlesoul.

after four years I'm tempted to just give him a boys hair cut just to shut every one up.. and maybe wondering if as he gets older I should.

so aibubto have a 'girls' hair cut for my son and becreconsidering cutting it and raising money for comic relief at the same time... I figure if people are so bothered they can sponsor and do charity at the same time?

Yes just cut it. Plenty of time for long hair as a teen/grown man when people can differentiate him as a male due to his body. Little boys look far too much like little girls with long hair. It just doesn't suit them.

What does ds2 want to do?
None of anyone else's business really!

ds2 likes his hair.. if he asked or said anything bad about his hair it'd be off in a shot.

see I don't think he looks like a girl..it's never up and his clothes should be a dead give away tba lol.

If you like his hair leave it long. Don't be influenced by other people's silly comments.

As it happens, ds2 also had long, straight blond hair at 4. I did end up cutting it but only because he wanted it cut shorter. People also suggested he looked like a girl. He didn't. But then it wasn't their business anyway.

So many little boys have long hair in my DDs school...we're talking from aged 4 up to 11 here. Not LONG but collar length kind of 70s looking...or surfy....it's not weird anymore.

If DS shows any discomfort, cut it then.
