I'm single and happily so. The card was posted from my hometown according to the postmark so could only be one of three people. None of whom I want to receive anything off and is just another way to harass me. According to my friend's I'm ungrateful and ridiculous

I thought you were meant to send valentines cards to single people, would be weird to send one to someone who was happily in a relationship with someone else wouldn't it?

Would they necessarily know that you were happily single and likely to be annoyed at their presumption?

Obviously if there's more to this story, and this person has past form for intimidating or harassing you, then YANBU to be annoyed...but if your friends know you well, and know the story, and still think you are ungrateful and ridiculous, then you probably are.

Of the 3 there are 2 ex's that refuse to believe over actually means over and a friend who has asked for more and been told no. So whilst Valentine's are ment to be sent to people your interested in surely being told to get lost shows the person would no appreciate the gesture.

My friend's know the situation but think it's sweet and I should be grateful. I'm sorry I know I'm ranting now

In that case you are probably NBU then!
But it is nice to receive a card.

Hard to be sympathetic, as you are obviously desired by three men at once, despite telling them that you're not interested.

I'm just jealous - didn't even get one from DH!

I suppose it depends on the person who sent it - if he's just a nice bloke who wants you to know that he still likes you, then no harm done really.

However, if he's a raving stalker that regularly sends you unsolicited cards and gifts then YANBU.

On the other hand, it might not be from any of them! If 3 men would like to be in a relationship with you then there may well be someone else who feels the same. Of course, if you feel that strongly about it, take it to the local pub and pin it on the dart board Grin
