The council are doing work on the outside of our row of maisonettes, it needs doing, but the way they are doing it is they'll do a small bit on our maisonette, then move to another and do a small bit there, then come back, and so on.
What that means is that we only get brief respites from the drilling and hammering, and it goes on for longer. It started last Monday, and they are still there now.
It would be annoying but not too bad if it wasn't for the fact that DS(10mo) is teething and barely sleeping anyway. And any time we try and put him down for a nap he gets woken up.
We can't go elsewhere, so we are stuck here with a tired and in pain child.
I wish they'd just do everything they have to do with our property and then move on. Rather than all this to-ing and fro-ing.
It just seems like at the moment they are causing the most inconvenience to the most people for the most amount of time. Surely it doesn't have to be like this?
