Keep,a secret from my best friend???

Story goes as this : my best friend has a secret that only a few people know about including myself! We have a mutual friend in common who also has a secret, which only a few know about and recently myself! Best friend has asked me if I know what this is, I've said no to keep the confidence of the common friend! If anybody asked me if I knew of best friend secret I'd say no too to protect her confidences also, then I'd tell her such a body was asking!!! Feel I'm in a rock and hard place trying to protect each friend!! Make me good or bad friend?

If someone has asked you to keep a secret, you keep it.
Simple!!

Do not share other peoples secrets, they are not yours to share.

I've known friend almost 5 years and her secret since she knows it will never pass my lips! Neither will common friends

Best way to keep a secret is never to let on that you have one. You're obviously all discussing the fact you have secrets (which is annoying and almost as bad a telling the secret).

I have secrets, some I keep, some I don't, some I share, some I keep so close that no one knows I have them... mostly, they're not my secrets, I too bloody open about myself. What I would never do is ever hint to anyone that I had a secret about someone else unless I was prepared to tell it.

Common friend told best friend their secrets are more than likely similar due to some kind of body language thing??? I don't know myself..... Best friend freaked !! I've never allowed either to know I know of the other!!!

I think you'd be more of a shit friend for telling someone elses secret. Its not yours to tell. Stay out of it.
