I am getting my delivery from Zachary in the courgette van.

Hmm

You could have Americanised yourselves there, Ocado. I am really pissed off that my driver/van isn't alliterated.

Broken Britain. :(

Confused
JaxTellerIsMyFriend · 07/02/2013 12:21

haha, but nothing will ever beat Jesus in the CAbbage Van! EVER!

MarmaladeTwatkins · 07/02/2013 12:22

I am praying, praying hard, that one day I will get Jesus in the Cabbage Van...

Truck, Chaos, truck.

I had Wayne in a Lemon van last week.... I want Jesus!

Sugarice · 07/02/2013 12:24

I had my first Ocado delivery this week and also got the phone app.

I was stupidly excited by that and have already done my order for next week, my delivery driver was also extremely well spoken, young and quite phwoarr!!

Is this all part of the Ocado experience cos I am hooked.

MarmaladeTwatkins · 07/02/2013 12:26

I HAVE HAD WAYNE IN THE LEMON VAN.

Not like that, you filthy-minded harridans...

I am yet to have a phwoar driver :(

Zachary in the Zucchini?! That WOULD be worth it!! Grin

PomBearWithAnOFRS · 07/02/2013 12:28

We don't have Ocado here in the frozen north among the barbarians and proles :(
although Zachary in the Zuccini (sp?) van does have a certain je ne sais quoi, nobody will ever be better than Jesus in the Cabbage van Grin

OurPlanetNeptune · 07/02/2013 12:28

Marmalade!

Blush
MarmaladeTwatkins · 07/02/2013 12:30

"Zachary in the Zucchini?! That WOULD be worth it!!"

THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!

I have quite literally spat my lunch out on my desk at Jesus in the cabbage van! We have had a few women recently when DH was home and he was devastated that Anna in lemon van wasn't a hottie...!

foofooyeah · 07/02/2013 12:35

And now I have that Robbie Williams classic song 'jesus in a camper van' running round my head - thanks for that Grin

JaxTellerIsMyFriend · 07/02/2013 12:36

Ive had Steve in the Courgette Van... not 'had' him, just delivering my goodies.

Also had James in the Cabbage Van, Wayne in the CAbbage Van, Peter in cabbage van (CAbbage Van quite popular in this area)
Peter in the Lemon Van, Samuel in Strawberry Van (my fave so far)
Phillip in Onion Van, John in Ernie Apple Van... hmm all men, except Kirstie in Apple Van. I asked her if she knew Jesus in the CAbbage Van, but she didnt.

Im not an Ocado driver stalker, just checked my text messages from Ocado.

I need to get a life.

JaxTellerIsMyFriend · 07/02/2013 12:38

Has anyone had a 'rate the driver' email from Ocado? I was quite disappointed to note there wasnt any rating for Hot, Smokin' Hot or bit of alright. All mine are polite, helpful and some are quite tasty looking. No wonder my shopping bills are sky high!

Im sure MN keeps Ocado afloat commercially all trying to get JEsus in the CAbbage VAn.

BaronessBomburst · 07/02/2013 13:02

Dear Annie (as I know OcadoAnnie will find this thread eventually),

Please, please, please will you start delivering to the Netherlands. The supermarkets here are shite. Thank you,

Yours sincerely,

BaronessBomburst

MarmaladeTwatkins · 07/02/2013 13:14

They certainly ARE slipping! Zachary and his zucchini van are running 30 minutes late!

I am STARVING and my lunch is in that van :( :( :(

Bobyan · 07/02/2013 14:02

I'd ask Zac for some specials treatment for being late...

MarmaladeTwatkins · 07/02/2013 14:03

Awwww he got here in the end and he was so nice that I don't care that he was late.

Bloody Ocado, sending naice men. I found it much easier to complain about the surly Asda man last week when they turned up 20 minutes late without saying a word about it.

CajaDeLaMemoria · 07/02/2013 14:04

My last few deliveries have been late too, and I keep getting barely in date food.

My drivers do tend to be nice though, and so very helpful. And Ocado do solve problems quickly if you email or call (although the people in their call centre probably hate me)
