My best friend is currently in a whirlwind relationship, I am happy for her as I know she wanted a boyfriend for a long time.

Sadly the man that she is with I already sort of know and I do know that he does coke. I'm not sure if I could call him an addict however. I'm also not sure if she knows this. He himself is a middle man - although this is for prescription drugs.

She is a teacher and although I know she would never do coke herself or anything else - could this potentially damage her career?

If you know these facts for definite ,not just hearsay ,you should tell her . I'd want to know if I was involved with a drug dealer ,whatever he was dealing . Then its up to her what she does about it.

Can you not say you've heard some rumours about this man and ask if she thinks its true? It's a new relationship so no biggie if you bring it up in conversation IMO.

If its true, she'll find our soon enough of her own accord I imagine due to his behaviours and numerous dodgy calls to his phone.
