I went for my dream job on the 15th of January. Last Friday they emailed to say they would let us know next week as they think they Will have some more positions available. So far nothing. It's agonising waiting but i can't decide whether to ring.

Just ring. It won't go against you as it shows interest. And you might hear good news or at least end the agony or find out when the agony of waiting will end. Don't leave it iver the weekend or you will go crazy!

call them! DH got a job he wasn't initially short listed for by following it up with an email to express his interest, thank them for seeing him, and ask for feedback!
