To think it's disgusting that DH doesn't spit..

I am lying here listening to DH brush his teeth and have been reminded of this disgusting habit. He doesn't spit all the foam out but sort of makes a sucking-up noise and swallows it.
I'm thinking it's justifiable grounds for divorce....

I thought you were supposed spit so that you're not ingesting too much flouride. I wonder what that's doing to his insides?

It's beyond foul. All that stuff you brush off your teeth and then you swallow it.
I have moaned about it before but I get the same response of "well, I'm over 40 now and survived this long.."

I used to spit and rinse my brush two or three times til my dentist told me that was wrong, but I still spit at the end now!

Does he have brown flecked teeth from the fluoride he must be ODing on?

You're not supposed to rinse but you can still spit all the extra suds out!

It is poison. All that fluoride can build up and cause some very serious problems later in life.

YANBU. Bacteria in the mouth is linked with heart problems, so he putting his health in danger. Seriously, he needs to have a chat with his dentist.
