That Jayne torvill sometimes doesn't look elegant in them frocks she wears but actually a little mutton dressed as lamb?

Well, she is a more mature lady nowadays. She looks better in them than I would though.

I think sometimes they are flattering! But the one today wasnt a good look or colour for her!

Jane Torvill is a 55 year old gold medal winning Olympic champion. You want her to be glamourous too ?

Conference, I don't think anyone wants her to be glamorous, but I agree with the sentiment behind the op. Tonight she looked a bit out of place, like she was going to a wedding or something! She still has a damn fine figure though.

I was astonished to read today that she is 55. I can't believe what she is still capable of, I'm only 33 and she is so bendy and lithe! I think she looks great, and much better now than she did 20 years ago.

I don't doubt for one minute her ability! But as somebody pointed out she is 55!!! I'm sure there is somebody who can dress her much more nicely in a manor in which is appropriate! Isn't that what we tell youth these day- dress age appropriately?

I hate the mutton expression... People should wear what they want. Why should society dictate how you dress based on your age etc?

Utterly shocking. I'm astonished she's allowed to leave the house at 55. Surely she should be sat in a rocking chair doing a spot of gentle crochet whilst wearing a shawl and bonnet.

Never mind Jayne, it's Anthea bloody Turner with that vile, little-girl accent and butter-wouldn't-melt looks when everyone knows she's a true baggage that has me incandescent.....thank god she got voted off tonight!

I think she looks great, power to her. Fab figure for 55 and looks good in Lycra.
