Verrucas and barefeet

I don't know if IABU.

A friend came to stay with her 2 DCs, they always take their shoes and socks off in the house. As do my 2 DC.

One of the DC had a lot of verrucas, which I did not know about until they were due to leave. They had no treatment on them ( but the Mum does treat them every so often)

AIBU in thinking that the DC should have worn socks?

YANBU. I had verrucas as a teenager that were so painful I was trying not to put weight on them so not really walking on one heel. When I had my school medical, I had developed a curve in my spine, which was blamed on this. They are bloody painful and more than just an annoyance.
