Was out in the street shovelling snow for an hour today. Came in to house phone ringing - it was my mum, informing me that I'd list my iPhone and that it was st the post office up the hill. I hadn't even noticed I'd dropped it!

It was found by the mum if post office lady, who found my mum's business card tucked in the back if the silicone case and thought it was her phone. Nipped up, v embarrassed, and asked for her to pass my thanks on to her mum.

I'd really like to get her a little something though, would chocs and a little thank you card be enough/appropriate? What a nice person!

Chocs and a card sounds like a good plan.

Sounds like a lovely gesture.

I'd have a small breakdown if I lost my phone!

Oh do.

My DS1 and I once found an iPhone and we traced the owner. She travelled a long way to be reunited with her phone the next day. She brought us 4 boxes of chocs ( cos' she didn't know what we would like), flowers and a thank you card.

And we thought it was brill cos' she was soooo happy and I still have that Thank You card.

Definitely, I might consider flowers instead of chocs (but that's coz I am weird and don't like chocs).
