to be annoyed that my new window is leaking?

On the 2nd of January I had two new windows fitted in the kids bedrooms and yesterday when it was raining there was water running down the bedroom wall from both of the bottom corners of the window in the nursery. I rang the company and they said no one could come until the 29th I accepted the appointment but then I wasn't happy with the wait so I rang them back and they said they'd send someone today.

He turned up without a ladder, messed around with his hand out of the window 'feeling seals' and then told me that he'd have to get someone else to come because he couldn't see properly without a ladder. I've just had a call to tell me they'll be coming on the 1st Feb!

These window are only three weeks old, they're leaking and I have to wait 10 days for someone to come and fix them!

I'm really quite angry about it but I don't know what to do.

AIBU to think this isn't good enough?

No it's not good enough and you should remember this when you/friends/neighbours want more windows.
In the meantime can you make a temporary repair by reaching out and sticking some duck tape over the seal?

I'll remember the very poor customer service and make sure everyone I know knows how rubbish they are as well!

I can't work out what the problem is and where the water's coming in so I'm struggling to stop it. Right now I'm just hoping it rains as little as possible in the next ten days

That is appalling service.
I'm sure you could argue that your windows are not fit for purpose.
Could your councils trading standards help chase the company up?
