A biscuit is usually offered when somebody posts a thread or opinion that is a bit inflammatory or has been done to death or that causes arguments.

clearly a jammy dodger on pc but not on my iphone anymore, which is how I usually access Mumsnet. This has cleared up for me why people keep putting a face with a beard and no other features in their post!

I usually send a because if I type "oh fuck off you silly cow" or "oh grow up and get a life/some common sense" or "are you serious or thick?" it gets deleted and MNHQ have to email me and slap my wrist. A is much kinder somehow.
