My two dd aged 12 , 14, decided yesterday afternoon to make some snowmen
They put one on top of the car and gave it eyes etc.looked really good.they also used some food dye on it.anyway, they came in and within about an hour the snowman was missing! Defo not melted because it was too cold and there were no signs of all his bits they had adorned him with .somebody at the top of our road made a lovely snowman and had his head nicked! Why do people do this when there's loads of snow everywhere still??

They probably think its funny. I suspect teenagers.

TheTrollologist · 20/01/2013 10:00

Were there any tiger paw prints where the snowman had been?

mademred · 20/01/2013 10:08

I will look for prints :-]and I never even thought it could have flown away!

We built a snowman yesterday and put a villa scarf around its neck and someone has come and put a Tesco carrier over its head! (bloody baggies)

My DD made a big snowman on Friday night and someone pushed it over into our garden.
She repaired it yesterday and within an hour someone had wrecked it again.
Whoever it was also put the neighbours snowmans head in the middle of the road!

mademred · 20/01/2013 10:34

flamingtoaster · 20/01/2013 11:05

Are either of your DD called Clara and did the snowman say anything at all before he went? Not wishing to panic anyone but having seen the Dr. Who Christmas Special ...

Reaa · 20/01/2013 11:51

I crippled my back building a giant snowman with ds yesterday on the green behind our house and when I was putting him to bed he looked out the window and it was gone!
He was heartbroken and I was raging Sad.

We built a snowman with DD (3) & DS (1) & last night some wankers teenage boys decided to kick it to shit Sad I hope it made them feel like really big men to destroy something a child made Hmm

Fakebook · 21/01/2013 13:17

Dd and me made a lovely snowman in our front garden yesterday. It was fine this morning when DH dropped dd off to school but between 8.45 and 9.10 some little shit punched its head off Angry. dd will be quite sad when she comes home.

Arthurfowlersallotment · 21/01/2013 13:21

Maybe it's off to the John Lewis sale?

wibblyjelly · 21/01/2013 13:28

The women who live above us made a snow dog yesterday in our communal green, and we had a joke with them about how long it would last. I was up at 3am today, and checked to see if it was still snowing. There were 2 foxes playing in the snow. One of them jumped on the dog, completely destroying it! I think they felt threatened by it Smile

wonkylegs · 21/01/2013 13:42

Our park had a snowman village with approx 30 snowmen + snow cats, dogs and a snow alien on Saturday, by Sunday morning they'd all been kicked to pieces Sad
Thankfully our garden snowman is fine but as it's still snowing here I keep having to uncover his eyes, mouth & scarf otherwise it just looks like an ever increasing snow mound with a carrot sticking out of the top!

I made a Doctor Who snowman in our front garden (picture on the snow creations thread). During the night someone removed its head then reattached it (I like to think it was fear or remorse but it was more likely that someone else reattached it). We also helped build and igloo on Friday and it had been kicked down by Saturday. Mean sods - it is just jealousy.

PS I though it would be funny to hide the scary snowman behind the hedge. It was not nearly so funny when I came home in the dark last night and had forgotten it was there shat myself Grin
