I have been wondering how long it would be before my neighbour took down the Christmas tree and today appears to be the day.

Why though is he wearing a hard hat?

Perhaps he's not taking any chances, given that he's 10 days over the 'bad luck' point

There was a thread about a woman who's radiator got pulled off the wall and leaked boiling water all over the floor when someone was removing her tree from the house. So I think he's taking precautions just incase something bad happens.

Is he also wearing a lumberjack shirt and using an axe to fell the tree?
