why can't people just accept ginger (I hate that phrase by the way I think of myself as a redhead not a "Ginger") hair as normal for heavens sake

Why distasteful? It is a counter-movement to be nasty to gingers so whilst a little odd, it has good intentions.

Kind of like the fat acceptance movement, not a bad thing

Will be giving DP an extra kiss tonight then.

Why distasteful?

careergirl · 12/01/2013 15:56

because I think its derogatory

Why? I don't get it. Its meant to counter the nastiness that ginger people receive. I don't see it as being derogatory at all.

Theicingontop · 12/01/2013 15:58

I don't think it's particularly derogatory. Maybe a bit silly.

I got a lighthearted vibe from it, not a condescending one.

I agree OP. If ds saw that campaign he would be hurt and wonder why 'gingers' are to be pitied.
