...despite the monitor beeping away in the next room.

So we have a baby monitor in the upstairs hallway to hear kids during the night - our bedroom is downstairs - but I rarely turn it off so it stays on during the day. (sometimes good because it's lovely to hear my DTs playing together when they don't realise I'm listening!) Anyway, it's on just now but DDs are playing upstairs and have obviously knocked it or flicked the switch so it has lost connection. Downstairs unit is now beeping in my bedroom to let me know, but I'm quite comfy sitting here MN-ing and watching some crap daytime TV - AIBU to leave it beeping rather than get up off my bum to switch it off. (or should I call 5 year old DD downstairs to switch it off for me? Blush )
