because I've just received an e-mail from Parcel2Go, telling me that they are sending a parcel via Yodel tomorrow (or Yodel is collecting it tomorrow)?

So many MNetters have complained about Yodel not knocking on the door but leaving a card etc that I am thinking about it.

To begin with, I couldn't remember ordering anything but then realised that I'm expecting £400 worth of books in one parcel!! Yodel?!!!

The e-mail did give a tracking number so I'll be on top of it. Wish me luck, please!

Any news on the delivery?

RuleBritannia · 11/01/2013 17:32

Yes and No. Well, I feel a bit silly really. Blush I contacted the seller who told me that the Parcel2Go e-mail was dealing with the collection not the delivery. The seller told me that I would receive the parcel on Monday or Tuesday.

I wasn't sure because the e-mail tracking record described the parcel as being on a van.

Well if it wasn't clear, how were you to know, don't give that another thought. Fingers crossed the books arrive early next week Smile

You make me feel better, Donkey! I was worried because £400 worth of things are being carried by Yodel, a company of which I have heard mostly negative reports.

If I'm expecting a parcel and have to go out, I always leave a note asking for it to be left behind the bin or taken next door. We have a large porch so behind the bin would hide it and it would be protected from the weather.

today, yodel decided to throw my parcel over an 8ft high gate, the fact that it was covered in red 'FRAGILE' tape didn't put them off for 1 second. the biggest pisstake though, I was actually home if they'd bothered to knock....

Not had problems with Yodel, but its always the same driver. Has been delivering here for years (he was part of dhl express), so knows roughly best times to find me or neighbours in.

An update just in case anyone's interested. My parcel arrived this morning. I asked the courier if he were from Yodel and he said he wasn't; he was from Citi Link.

Well at least I can sleep tonight. WineWine SmileSmile
