Can you tell us what's bothering you? We might be able to help you crystallise issues and formulate plans to solve or bear with

Not stupid problems at all Becky we all have times like these when we need support.

I don't know if you are a single mother, or feel like one but I have been one and it is blooming hard sometimes. Especially when money is tight and finding a job is hard.

Have you been to any agencies and asked for advice with your CV or interview techniques or whether there are any temp jobs/college courses you could do to boost your confidence if you have someone to have the child/ren?

If you are feeling really low is it worth talking to your GP?

When the others start moaning tell them you don't want to hear it right now if you don't.

beckylee88 · 06/01/2013 18:06

I have just finished a course and have been seeing a lone parent advisor at the job centre (not a single parent) i may go to the docs as i have other worries as well but scared to as i always feel ppl judge me

becky you do what you need to do. Sod anyone else (I know easier said than done).

ResolutelyCheeky · 06/01/2013 21:21

You must stop listening to everyone else's woes until you are in a place where it isn't burdening you further.
Take one step every week to help yourself, starting maybe with gp, then maybe citizens advice the week after?
You need to take care of you so that you can be the best for your dc.
Good luck to you.
