i ordered several items from a FB seller in November as Christmas gifts. Only one item arrived, the other 4 are missing. After a lot of messaging the seller has agreed to refund me the cost of the 4 missing items. Payment was made by paypal (but as i had forgotten my paypal login details i did the direct payment option if i remember rightly) but the seller has asked for my bank details to refund the payment to.

Does this sound dodgy to anyone else? Would you not automatically refund by Paypal? im not particularly technical so not sure about Paypal and how it works!

As far as I'm aware, with sort code and account number she can only pay money in. I would double check this just incase though.

I definitely had money stolen from by paypal account via a dodgy ebay seller in Hong Kong. No idea how they did it.

Took me weeks to get the money back from Paypal who were very unhelpful.
