To be miffed with DH (light hearted, not about to LTB)

Had my hair cut today from almost bra strap length to chin length. DH knew I was going as he was watching the boys. I've come back, looking totally different & he's not made one comment.

Actually he's just said he's going to call me 'Bob' & that it's 'wider' than he thought it would be. What am I supposed to make of that?

Men eh.

My DH has form in this area.
I dyed my hair a very dark red, almost purple and felt sure i looked like a femme fatale. I flew out to join him on his business trip in Prague and the whole 3 days he never ONCE mentioned my hair. Now considering I had been ash blonde when he left a few days earlier , come on!!
So I asked him on the plane home, and he said, " I did notice but it looks crap, so I didn't say anything"

I am NOT suggesting your hair looks anything other than gorgeous however.
And BTW, I have looked at photos from that trip and my hair looked amazing, shiny and sexy, so he can piss right off actually.

He's just told me 'it sort of suits me, but it's odd'.

Yeah I have one that's like this too. He once told me he prefers to say nothing when he doesn't like my hair, that way I won't be offended if he's honest.

God forbid he actually tell a white lie and tell me I look nice. Arse.

What is it with men an either not noticing hair or making disparaging comments?

I have had entire cuts/colours that have gone completely unnoticed I mentioned this to dh recently and he said that he always comments, so I told him that he obviously didn't notice at all the times he didn't comment.

Thankfully my girls always notice and say nice things

Dp's comment when i last had hair done was "oh its odd you look young" suppose i was a wizened old hag before.... I am 33

And by the way, when I had my hair chopped to jaw length (from mid back) DH pretended not to recognise me when I walked through the door. I had my revenge though when he asked me how many grey hairs he had on his temples.... Told him he looked like a badger..
