?! Confused

I don't think so, but what were you trying to ask?

AgentZigzag · 05/01/2013 00:36

If you've had lots to drink - you're doing very well Smile

If not - not so much Grin

SPsFanjoIsAsComfyAsAOnesie · 05/01/2013 00:36

Not a clue what you are talking about tbh Grin

Feelingood · 05/01/2013 00:37

Oooo a drunk thread

ChaosTrulyReigns · 05/01/2013 00:37

You do know you're meant to do it nekkid, dontcha?

FunnysInLaJardin · 05/01/2013 00:38

prob. I have had copious vino and a syndol so out makes sense to me.....

auburntrees · 05/01/2013 00:38

Ah, it would appear not! Attempted to post a different message, think I got the hang of it after this one, thank you for replying! Bit new to actually posting (brave tonight!), rather than just lurking!

No, not drunk thread, just new to posting on this particular site. Still have not got the hang of how to actually make the grinney faces appear, etc, but think of me as a new advocate, just trying to learn the ropes, not ignite a flaming for popping my head above the parapet. :-)Thanks for any advice, seems my original attempt made it anyway, despite my worst efforts :-D

LRDtheFeministDragon · 05/01/2013 00:50

You'd have to be advocating something, though ... as far as I can see, you're not?

Are you sure you're not a robot?

Twiddle a screwdriver in your ear - that should help.

auburntrees · 05/01/2013 00:53

pop over to the other thread, was the question I originally meant to ask :-). Not ready to enter pedants corner just yet!

Thank you. Wanted to post many times, feeling my way along

ThatVikRinA22 · 05/01/2013 01:02

ah just wade in! its the only way....

auburntrees · 05/01/2013 01:08

Apparently so! Thank you for the kind welcome. My dog is currently growling whilst chewing her own paw, (no problems, she just really, really seems to enjoy it), dp snoring on sofa, ds snuggly in bed, so i feel somewhat justified in seeking alternative company...

DoItToJulia · 05/01/2013 01:18

Mmmm, syndol.

LuluMai · 05/01/2013 01:19

It's 1999 all over again...

auburntrees · 05/01/2013 01:53

In all innocence, what do those cryptic messages mean?

Have I unknowingly committed some mumsnet social faux pas, or is this a usual thing? Let me in on the joke? Or advise me on etiquette, I do quite enjoy this site for its honesty and direction ;-)

auburntrees · 05/01/2013 02:02

Thank you, donna. Am on a phone, does that make a difference to how the smileys are used?

donnasummer · 05/01/2013 02:03

I wouldn't imagine so Xmas Grin

auburntrees the best advice is to lurk, lurk lurk and get to know the foibles and quirks of MN before posting. Avoid AIBU unless you are very robust.
