To think this is really sneaky?

My mum bought us (me, my dh & my 5mo dd) a Stokke Tripp Trapp for our Christmas present though she didn't buy it until after Christmas.

She sent me the link to me so i could choose some cushions that she was going to to buy and I will pay her back for so she sent me the link to look at, I picked one and she bought it. She got a delivery date and a happy & spoilt daughter & granddaughter!

I popped over yesterday and I mentioned that I would like to find one of those little chairs that you can either hook onto the table or slot over an existing chair for my MIL's house. So we were looking at the site she bought the TT from and I looked at the HandySitt only to discover they are offering it for free if you buy a Tripp Trapp. There's no mention of this on the TT page, only the HandySitt page.

I told my mum to call them up and ask if she can have it sent out too but they told her the item had already shipped & he 'would see what he could do' and would call her back. I'm really annoyed for my mum as she spent £200 and I feel that she was fobbed off. They made no effort to contact her to let her know not that they would!

The offer is mentioned on the Tripp Trapp page though.

Does seem a bit unfair. I recently bought a Dyson Digital Slim cleaner from Argos. Their website offered a free tool pack with it but there was no mention of that when I went to the shop to buy it. However, they couldn't have been more helpful, spent ages looking up the offer and finding the right code and made sure I left with my free pack. I was most impressed with them. Hope you get a similar outcome with yours.

Send it back and cancel the order. Re-order both of them so you get the free one. Sorted.

Contact them, tell them you'll be returning the tripp trapp under the DSR unless they send the HandySitt. If they won't send it, return the Tripp Trapp and take your custom elsewhere (or the same place if you really can't get it as cheap elsewhere)
