Literally.

I've just woken up bursting for the bathroom. Go and wash my hands and there's dried blood on my hand.

I checked my face in the mirror - no bleeding. Aunt Flo is not visiting either.

Checked on the husband and the small children. All soundly asleep, so I've not became a crazed killer in my life.

I'm at a complete loss.

I immediately thought mooncup misshap.

Can't help otherwise.

Perhaps a spot somewhere you can't see easily - scalp maybe?

Check your legs - if I have any insect bites I tend to scratch them in my sleep.

I was half asleep and when I was washing my hands and then the sight of the blood made me wake up, then I spent the next 10 minutes checking on all the people in the house haha.

Definitely not a moon cup incident, never used one before ever.

It can be a bit of a bother, but if it's A rhesus negative, bottle it as it can be quite expensive

Do you have sharp toenails and sleep in foetal position? As the to could have made a small scratch on your palm which is enough for a bit of blood, but not enough to show a mark after washing hands later on?

Or maybe you were hungry and had a nibble in your sleep

A spot on your fanjo that burst all over your hand when you wiped?
