I have had a horrid flu type virus (on day 6) and not improving.

Drugs drugs drugs
In bed under duvet
Trying to drink water and orange juice
Lots of sleep

But not easy with dh who also has it, my mim is also poorly and i have 3 dcs aged 5 6 and 10

Poor kids :(. I just want to feel better :(

Soluable Solpadine is my 'go to' painkiller for major needs. It has paracetamol though so factor it in with any other paracetamol you take. You can take it alternately with Ibuprofen but don't take it for more than 3 days as it can be addictive.

Day 6, you have to turn the corner soon, it's difficult with kids I know, is there no one who would have them? If not all then 1 or 2?!!

Not much help I know, but try and rest, stick kids in front of games/telly what ever to get over this patch, and order tea in!!

Kindles have been a lifeline and have started to share them out now - pretty hard on " family days" like new years day.

Solua le solPhadine will be on the list for my friend (who is an angel) next drug run!

Trouble is lots seem to have this :(
