To just want some time alone?

I have had it.

Have been off work for a while so no escape out the house that way. Not close to family so no escape that way. Can't drive so no escape that way. Four kids all who have been ill the last two weeks. Bedtimes gone to pot, so older two often awake after me.

All means I have not left the house in two weeks and in that time have had zero time alone. Every time I sit on the sofa the kids are glued to me so I can't move my arms. DH goes to work so gets to escape he came back tonight and told the older ones they could stay up again so I have escaped to bed in a foul mood.

I just need some time and space.... Argh.

Sorry for the rant.

what would you like to do? I felt like this today so 4pm I went upstairs closed the bedroom door and lazed in the bedroom watching tv, reading and playing games like a teenager. Im happy now dh sorted the children and got then to bed etc and I got the afternoon/evening to myself with no stress.

would something like that work?
