The dumbing down & total media spectacle that is now the Vienna Philharmonic's New Year's Day concert?
It used to be a fun concert with light music & an excellent conductor. Now it appears trivialised - I mean giving members of the orchestra cuddly toys?
Or am I just getting old and this is now "the world"?
