Mine are:

To quit smoking
To lose weight (a stone in six months although I need to lose a lot more - small goals)
To spend more time outside/with adults
To not be afraid to act silly with my children
To stand up for myself without being abrasive (big learning curve)

I like to take up things in the new year rather than give up things iyswim.

This year I going to start playing music again.

Last year I took up running and it was the only resolution I have ever kept up all year. And I lost a stone and a bit in the process :)

I'm thinking about cutting down the carbs.

And to continue to drink less alcohol.

Pass HSK1 in Mandarin
Publish 3 books
Move house
Join a new choir
Ride a horse

Ride a horse is carried over from last year; I did the other four from last year so I am determined to get that one this time.

We put our lists in the Christmas decorations box. It's good to see them again on Christmas Eve when we're decorating the tree.

To fully take advantage of every second of my maternity leave (all year) with my gorgeous new baby Smile

Sod the rest

To lose my baby weight (two years later...) and then conceive DC2.

Get promoted before any more mat leave but not plan DC2 around that!

Continue with drinking less alcohol
Continue with gym and general exercise regime
Swear less (this is a regular feature of various resolution lists)
Frown less
Achieve a work life balance where life has some weight at all
Maintain new face cleansing and care routine (started in Dec early)
Save some money for a rainy day emergency fund

Lose weight. Lost almost 2 and a half stone with WW last year but have struggled over last few months. Back to it next Tuesday.

Walk more.

Use my cross trainer if too wet to walk.

Carry on with last years organising/de-cluttering. House is much better but still have a bit to go.

Thinking of banning myself from here so I actually do stuff!

Report
duffybeatmetoit · 01/01/2013 11:56

Not to go to the gym. My cousin said it is the only resolution she's been able to keep all year Grin
