To think this is a piss-poor excuse for a delivery schedule

My Dad ordered a present online.

The company used 'XDP Express' for delivery. Apparently the item was at the depot on the 22nd of December.

It has yet to arrive.

I just checked their website www.xdp.co.uk/express/ and the following is their delivery schedule:
21st December - last full delivery day
22nd December - Saturday delivery schedule
23rd December - Sunday, closed
24th December - morning deliveries only
25th December - closed
26th December - closed
27th December - open, but no deliveries
28th December - open, but no deliveries
29th December - closed
30th December - closed
31st December - open, but no deliveries
1st January - closed
2nd January - back to normal

They're enjoying the break I see!

Wtf!!!

Must be a quiet time of year for parcel delivery firms. Good time to take 2 weeks off. Hmm

Yeah it's not like there are a lot of parcels being delivered in the rub up to Christmas or anything!

FedEx and UPS could learn something from these clowns.

Are they going into receivership, and have given up?

It doesn't make sense.

Must have really good profits to be able to turn down work around Christmas
