So I bought a chocolate log from asda for me and my family to enjoy over christmas. Went to open the packet tonight and cut a slice - found a very long hair in it. Should I return it to the store I bought it from, hair included? Shall I send a strongly worded email? Or just think it serves me right for being greedy! I dont know whats worse - this or the time I found a deep fried fingernail in a bag of chips! (I promise my diet is normally healthy)

Personally I have never really got the outrage at a stray hair. We all have hair. It has been cooked at high temps, and is just one of those things.

But a fingernail is making me want to vomit.

Illogical :o

Sure it was a fingernail and not a toe nail? Grin

the toe/fingernail makes my feel really ill. Someone in work found a nail in their soup from the canteen. It was prob about 7 years ago and I have never eaten from there since.
anyway op I would send an email.

I find hair in food all the time. I then moan to myself n stop eating. Then realise it's my own hair as its bright red.

lilypaige · 27/12/2012 00:20

Oh no it may have been a toe nail! I should use this to my advantage when I start my new years diet, whenever I smell the lovely aroma of chippie il just envisage a fried toenail

wanna reminds me of when the ex and me found a slug in his curry from the Indian. He thought it was a mushroom till the things came out of its head. I shouted and warned him.

Should have let him eat it

When I was young, we went out for a family meal, DB ordered chips and something and in his chips there was a deep fried wasp!

"Should have let him eat it"

:o

Though a snail acting like a mushroom is making me feel sick.
