To not expect to need a screwdriver to open a toy?

The packaging on toys this year seems to be even worse than normal. I expect to need scissors to cut off daft ties, and to have to fight through plastic to get to figures but toys being screwed into the packaging?

At this rate a whole tool box will be needed to open a few toys!

we werent too bad this year and only needed scissors. Have had to use a screw driver in previous years to detach cars from packaging - bit OTT!

Yanbu
Father Christmas unpackaged most of our stuff prior to delivery due to such problems in the past!

The Furby needed a screwdriver and the screws were difficult to access too. It had to be a long narrow one. 30 mins later YANBU.

We had the whole lot. stupid packaging. screws in everything. and Santa didn't even assemble the bloody things in advance. (note to self for next year!)

I built a dolls house that required Allen keys and 4 different size screwdriver bits, none of which were provided. Lucky we have a tool box Smile

This used to drive me completely mad - wire ties that were also sellotaped on & then once you'd freed the toy you needed the world's smallest screwdriver to open the battery case.
