I love her. I am on the fourth episode of the hotel inspector in a row today. She wears lovely clothes (most of the time) and looks fabulous when she is pregnant.

She is my new crush.

I think she dresses most inappropriately with her bosom hanging out in a most enviable way. She manages to look classy whilst rocking her upmarket tramp style. My DD and I are determined (as her cars are so posh) that her dangly earrings that she ALWAYS wears, are real diamonds. We spend the whole show debating that whilst I secretly envy her incredible figure.

I love her. She's nice and blunt all at the same time and very interesting looking. I mean that in a good way. She isn't traditionally beautiful but is very striking iyswim. I much prefer interesting faces to beautiful ones.

I'm not sure if that came out right! I think she's fable :)

I love her hair, but her voice really irritates me.

I love the way she swears like a trooper but in a posh way.

I want her red bag.

Yes! She's not a pretty lady, but I enjoy looking at her.

Oh thats our other debate, alongside the diamond debate, is the bag Hermes or Mulberry? Does anyone know?

I think she's great too and I love the Hotel Inspector.

She does have some fabulous bags. And there was a beautiful scarf at one point...

My mums boyfriend has a crush on her. He watches the programme just to drool over her.

And her earrings - am on a permanent quest to find Alex-style earrings that don't cost the earth as I'm sure too hers are real.

I'm not convinced she actually stays in some of those hotels though.

Some of them are dire.

I've just watched the garden lodge one, with all the crazy flower plates and things from Bali. Alex was heavily pregnant and could barely conceal the utter distaste on her face

when a certain close relative was telling me bragging about her 'property empire'. Turns out flat she bought overlooks the naturist hotel in Brum...

I went into labour with ds whilst watching Hotel Inspector, so she will always have a special place in my heart.

She is wonderful. However, my girl crush on her was, er, crushed when she once wore a truly truly dreadful hat.

The Hotel Inspector was the last programme I watched before we went to hospital - can remember it clearly - although it was with Ruth whatever her name was rather than Alex.

Was it the hideous yellow one, MyCannyBairn? Aside from that, I do quite like her :-)

The naturist one is my joint favourite along with the one that had erotic art on the walls. I actually think she's kinder to some of the owners than I would be!
