Earlier today dh asked me to make a roast dinner with all the trimmings. Now i am a busy woman at the moment and would really have just prefered something quick so i could continue wrapping etc.Hhowever feel g seasonable i said yes spent ages cooking. when all was plated up and ready dh announced he was off to church and would have his later. i am fuming as we very very rarely sit down together to eat as he works late most nights. also dh in no way a religious man. in 15 years together i have seen him in a church about five e times in total. just feel i was under pressure to make a nice meal which was somewhat thrown back in my face but part of me wonders if i am overeacting. sorry for multitude of spelling and punctuation errors, am on bloody phone.

If he isn't that religious why has he just upped and gone to church seemingly on a whim?

I'd be more worried about that

Did he not invite you to go to church with him? Seems a bit close to Christmas day for a roast, and I love roastsGrin

Some people will do anything for a sip of free wine Wine

That's really bizarre.

Did he say why he was going to church? It seems a bit strange if he's not a regular church-goer to do this, I think.

It's also a bit strange to want the full roast dinner when you're so busy etc.

What did he say whwne he returned?

That is very odd. Was the church Charlotte?

Monty27 · 23/12/2012 22:46

Was he on a surprise xmas present mission?

If not, sounds very odd.
